Dapplethorn

Dapplethorn is a river sprite, who spends his days curled up asleep in the reeds by the waters edge, and only emerges at twilight to dance in the dappled light. He is made from two type of viscose – a curled German viscose in white and a hand-dyed super soft Italian viscose in a dappled aqua/teal colouring.

Dapplethorn looks out through petite black glass eyes and has an oversized hand-embroidered darkest teal perle cotton nose. He is fully T-pin jointed and stuffed with a mix of polyfill, glass and steel shot. His cute paw pads have 3D pulled toes and furry detailing. He wears a glass dome owl pendant nestled in a crescent moon to help remind him to rouse the owls at sunset (he forgot once, and they’re still a bit grumpy about it!).

Dapplethorn’s gorgeous wings are handmade and fully removable, shimmering in all the shade of blue and aqua. This bear is a one of a kind.
